CPTM signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of North Macedonia
Cannapharm Technologies Malta Limited (“CPTM” or the “Company”) today announced the signature of an MoU with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of North Macedonia, following on from the Letter of Intent (LoI) received in February 2019.
“This is consecration of the parties’ commitment to a full cooperation for the development of a Medical Cannabis (MC) sector in north Macedonia” said Bruce H. Gaston, Director of CPTM. “ CPTM will now conduct an assessment of opportunities and prepare feasibility and development plans”.
The primary aim is the establishment of a complete-cycle medical cannabis project, that includes cultivation, postharvest, API manufacturing, R&D and packaging facilities according to EU-GMP standards . Particular focus will be on the establishment of a clinical trials facility, with the purpose of conducting and boosting the research on cancer-related diseases treatment using, among others, MC-based drugs.
